Voice and video calls
Clear, encrypted calls, 1:1 or with the whole group. Turn your camera on when you like; the call sits in the corner so you can keep chatting.
Screen sharing
Share Screen 1, 2, 3 or a single window, pick smooth motion or sharp text, and watch shared screens full screen.
Files and pictures
Drop a file onto the chat, paste a screenshot, or attach up to 8 MB. Pictures show inline and open full size with one click.
@mentions
Type @ and pick someone from the list. They're highlighted in the message and told about it, even in a busy group.

Two-factor authentication
Add a second step at sign-in with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or any other authenticator app. Recovery codes cover you if you lose your phone, and up to five trusted devices can skip the code.
Encrypted at rest
Every message and every file is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Deleting a message destroys its content for everyone, not just hides it.
Private calls
Call audio flows directly between the two of you and is encrypted by the connection itself. The server only helps you find each other.
See where you're signed in
Every device is listed by its own name, with its city, country and IP. Sign any of them out and it takes effect immediately.

Good to know.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install?
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen doesn't recognise the publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You'll only see this once.
Do I have to download it again for every update?
No. Once installed, Konvella checks for updates in the background and offers a quick restart when a new version is ready.
Is my data encrypted?
Messages and files are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Call audio travels directly between the people on the call and is encrypted by the connection, so the server never handles it. You can add two-factor authentication under Settings, Account & Security.
What if I lose the phone with my authenticator app?
Use one of the recovery codes you were given when you turned on two-factor authentication. Each works once, and you can generate a fresh set any time from settings.
How do I add friends?
Open Add friend and enter their exact username. Once they accept, you can message and call each other.
Is there a Mac or mobile version?
Not yet — Konvella is available for Windows 10 and 11 right now.
